In March of 2022 Woodman Agitator acquires the manufacturing equipment used to produce open cell sponge cord. With this acquisition Woodman has become the leading manufacturer of open cell sponge in the United States. The open cell sponge rubber is used in the manufacturer of gaskets as well as for other commercial markets.
Used in the new and reconditioned steel, fiber, and plastic drum industries for sealing of open head drums. Woodman’s drum gaskets are a general purpose gasket made with FDA, MIL, and ASTM approved material. All Woodman gaskets are produced in house under ISO 9001 standards. We offer sizes from 1/4″ to 1/2″ diameter in both dense and sponge rubber. Produced from natural rubber, epdm, neoprene, and nitrile. Our drum gaskets are made to customer specified lengths.
